BANK OF TOKATEA GOLDMINING COMPANY.

The first general meeting of the shareholders in this company was held this afternoon, at the Metropolitan Hotel. Dr. Lee was placed in the chair. With the exception of Dr. Lee, not a single director was present; and the mining manager was also absent on account of ill-health. Considerable dissatisfaction was expressed at this, and it was moved that the meeting should be adjourned until Friday next, and that a special request should bo to the Directors at Coromandel to be present. This was carried after an amendment had been proposed and negatived. The meeting is therefore to be held at the same place on Friday next at 2 o'clock,
