PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE
Othello was performed last evening to a full house. Mr Hoskins gave a masterly representation of the part of Othello, Mr Tavares impersonations have been so elaborately commented upon and praised that we need state nothing* beyond the fact that in conception of character and elocution, his lago is one of the best characters lie sustains. Miss Surtees looked charming as Desdemona, and Miss Colville as Emilia played with exceeding good taste. The tragedy was enthusiastically received throughout. It will be repeated this evening with a change of cast—Mr Tavares acting Othello, Mr Hoskins lago, Miss Colville Desdemona, and Miss Surtees Emilia.
