ALBERT BARRACKS.
To the Editor of the Evening Stae. Sib, —In passing through the Albert Barracks this evening I was much surprised at the dangerous state of the ground, and unless the turf is replaced besides the post holes being properly filled, serious, or perhaps fatal accidents will occur to some of our young men who take exercise there as runners, cricketers, or football players, and as the Caledonian games wore so great a success in a monetary sense, the small sum required to put the ground in the order it was before New Year's Day, should be cheerfully expended by the committee, now their attention has been called to the matter. I am, &c, Obsekyee.
