THEATRE ROYAL.
That mirth-inspiring extravaganza Paris, was again performed last night. This is a piece of superior order in its class, and well deserves the run it has had. Some of the best quotations, witticisms, and allusions, However, seem not to be appreciated at their value by the majority of the audience For properly understanding them, some knowledge of "Lempriere" and the heathen mythology is requisite. Mr Hydes of course drew tears from the audience, and Miss Stephenson retired covered with glory jandboquets. The piece was preceoded by '.' Green Bushes," which was performed with spirit, and in the interval Mr M'cCabe sang two songs in capital style, and Miss Burford danced a hornpipe with as much grace and elegance as that curious description of dance is capable. This evening there will be a complimentary benefit to Mr J P Hydes. The proceeding will commence with the comedy of " The Bonny Fishwife," and conclude with " Ixion-" Herr Efforte and his troupe will perform Borne gymnastic evolutions in the interval.
