Justice.
STEALING! FEOM A COTTEB.
William Wing, sailor, aged 29, was indicted for stealing five cwt. of flour, one lb. butter, one lb. candles, and a clock.
Prisoner said that as he had not been before, a magistrate, no depositions had been taken and he was at a loss to know how to act.
His Honor was of opinion that prisoner should be furnished with a copy of the indictment and minutes of evidence.
The hearing of the charge was consequently postponed to a future day in the present session. The Court adjourned at 4 o'clock.
