January 4, 2.47 p.m

The Inverness will commence crushing on Monday at the Prince Alfred Battery. Some very good stone has been taken out during the last day or two.

The Don Pedro have obtained some good stone. The Black Angel are crushing at the Manukau Battery.

The Tookey Company have got some stone out of the main level reef and are awaiting a trial crushing. The lode is improving. It is five feet thick. The Willis tributers have finished crushing, but not yet retorted.

The Flying Cloud have got out Borne good specimens.

The Begatta will take place tomorrow. A great success is expected-
