A pair-oared boai; match took place this morning. The competitors were Mailing and- Hopkins .".gainst Blair and Davis. Tho distance was four miles. Tie latter won by 50 yards. There wia a great crowd on the wharf and beach watching tho race.
T/te Golden Croivyjiave crushed 60 tori's ; the } rield is .73 ounces.
The Caledonian have banked 1,484 ounces melted gold* The Una have lodged 80 ounces, produce of the last crushing. The All Nations have obtained 578 ounces melted gold.
