ARRIVAL OF THE CITY OF ADELAIDE.

The magnificent s s City of Adelaide, Captain D Walker, arrived in harbour this morning after a capital passage of five and a half days. She left Sydney on Saturday at 5 30 p m, and rounded North Cape at 1 p m on Thursday, and arrived in Auckland on Friday at 830a m. Experienced a strong north east gale with heavy rain and thick weather from Saturday night to Monday afternoon, and fine weather with light variable winds the remaining part of the passage. Passed s s Hero on Tuesday morning, in latitude 34 deg 2 mm south, and longitude 162 deg 49 mm east. Passengers : Mrs Adams, Mrs Tavares, Messrs Tavares, Ogilvey, M.O3es, Kerr, and 15 in the steerage. We are indebted to Captain Walker and the chief officer for full files of Sydney and Melbourne papers.
