3 p.m. Caledonian.—ln the low level the reef has increased in size. The Queen of Beauty have lodged 54<0z8 for the week, making tke total for the fortnight 10G ounces melted. About 100 tons have been put through. The Red White and Blue have taken out some specimens. The Lion are sending a trial parcel to the machine. The Golden Calf shaft is 340 feet deep. The Central Italy reef is close at hand. About 30lbs specimens taken out of a new claim on the Hape Creek gave 15 ounces.
