City Baths.—The question was raised as to whether these baths should not be handed over to the * i'y Council at a nominal rent, and it was decided to transfer the present lease or to grant a new lease to the City Council.

Jarbah Timber.—An offer was read, from Port Cnalmers, to furnish a quantity of this timber for the use of the Board on certain terms, and its further consideration was adjourned for a fortnight.—A letter was then read from the secretary, detailing his expert* ences in Sydney, and his action on behalf of the Board.
