Mr. 3. Jone3 held, today, an exteruive trade sale of groceries, oilmen's stores, &c, at his auction mart. There was a good attend ance. The following are the quotations :—I). bond : 254 mats fine white crystals, 3 13----16ths per lb ; 182 mats, 4|d per lb; 18----mats, 4 1 per lb; 114 mats yellow crystals, 3sd per lb ; 75 gunnies Company's I C sugar, 4Jd per lb ; 52 cases new currants, sld por lb ; 150 cases Devoe's kerosine, 3s pei" gallon ; 50' half-chests fine congou, Is 4.1 per lb ; Kaison congou, in boxes, 243 each; 25 chests, ex Odense.'ls 4d per ib; 25 bill che3tß, ci Albyn's Isle, 2* 6d per lb j 25 bosea gunpowder, 2s Id perlb; lOcasks soda crystals, 9s per gross; Hill and Ledger's pickles, 10a 9d per dozen; Palmer's vestas, 6s 3d per gross ; Bell and Black's, 6s 6d per gross ; Burnet'a Tinegar, 9s per dozen ; English vin«=gar, 2s 3d per gallon ; soap, 20s per cwfc. Mr. George Sibbin Bold to-rl-y, afc bis mart, by order of the Registrar, 4 acres 3 roods 24 perches, suburbs of Auckland, for the sum of Messrs. E. & H. Isnat-a held to-day, at. their auction rooma, Fort-si veet, a stile of wines, tobacco, fancy goods, &o. There was a full attendance of the traue, arid a largo parcel of fancy goods disposed of, at fair prices, but owing to the large number of lots to be offered the balance will have to be submitted at a future rale. The spirit trade was dull, and but very low lots sold. The nautical article* sold at good price?.
