Wv have been requested by the passengers of the Couiitosa of Kintore to give insertion to the following address :— " Wis the undersigned saloon passengers in your ship, from Lou lon to this p >ri, do.-ire to express to you our thanks for your I;in i and continued attention to our comfort during the voyage, and to place, on record our respout for .your character as a commander, and as a gentleman We no'v beg \ * !*' ticceptan.'.' o! the accompanying purse 61 sovereigns, with winch to purchase a pie* c of plate, I > have inscribed thereon : 'Presented by the saloon passengers of.the Countess of Kiutoro, on tiie voyage from Loudon to Auckland, in the year 1871, as a taken of their regard ;' unci pray that you will rest assured of our best wishes f r your future happiness and welfare. For your chief and second officers (Messieurs Bowling and Ilardie), also, we wish to express our thanks and regards, and bog that you will convey our sentiments tothein. —We are," &c. (Signed by all the saloon passengers.)
