[Before. Thomas Beckham, Esq., R.M ] DrunkENNiiSS. —Five drunkards were disposed ot in the customary manner. Drtlvk i>*D DisoedelY. —Robert Gordnn, having been ccnvicted of this offence was fined 20a and costs with the alternative cf fortyeiglit hours imprisonment. Malicious Ikjpijy.—Robert Gordan was further charged with wilfully and maliciously brenking a pane of glas3, vahird at 25 shillings, the property of Lowi3 Kelly, of Wellesley street. He pleaded drunkenness as an excuse. Fined 20s and costs, and ordered to pay iho value of the property destroyed, or be imprisoned one month. Fuhious Dkiting.—Samuel Brown, charged with driving furiously in a public thoroughfare, to wit, Chancery-street, pleaded not guilty. Although the Police could not say that, defendant had urged his horse beyond 11 trot, it was erkletit Unit lie was driving faster than Wiiß compatible with the safety of the public. Sentenced to fourteen days impib' nineut, in default ofpatiu/a fine of 40$.
