THE LIBEL CASES.
The charge* of libel preferred against the proprietors of the Evening Stak being called, there was no appearance, of plaintiffs or defendants. —Mr. Cunningham informed His Worship that the charges had been withdrawn.—The Resident Magistrate expressed his satisfaction at the turn which aiFairs had taken, but commented on the impropriety of not having the matter properly represented to the Court through counsel.
