Malicious Injury to Property.—Eliza McGinn was charged with wilfully breaking a pane of glass, the property of Michael Corcoran and valued at £3. Sho pleaded guilty, and s:iid she had done it. while under the influence of drink. She w;is ordered to b^ imprisoned for two months with hard labour.

Embezzlement. —Edward If all, was accused by Henry Jackson, of embezzling the sum of £3 3s 9d, while in his hired service. At the request of Inspector brohain, the case was adjourned to Wednesday. Stray Aniijals.—Anno McKivcr, for allowing a cow to wander about tho streets, was fined ten shillings and oosts. John Russell was similarly dealt, with for a like offence. Assault. - Martha Lamb was charged by Mary Anne O'Brien, with striking her on the eye with her clenched fist. Mr. Joy appeared for plaintiff find Mr. Bennett for defendant. Prosecutrix deposed, that Mrs. Lamb struck her and called her names without having received any provocation. A severe cross-exam-ination failed to shako her testimony, and defendant was ordered to find two sureties of £5 each, for her good behaviour during throe months.
