Gn.__.UAiV[STOWN, 3 p.m. The Caledonian have lodged 7(302 ozs. of melted gold for the month. Shares are offering at £100 ; few buy era. The Gfolden Crown tributers have obtained 63 ounces for the fortnight. The City of Edinburgh, Tararn, have crushed 80 tons, aud the return is only 13 _ ounces. A crushing of 10 tons for the Windsor Castle yielded 13 ounces. The Shooting Star have taken out 15 lbs. of good specimens during last night. The Moanatairi have completed their crushing for the fortnight, and the return is 281 ounces retorted gold. The City of Dunedin have 100 ozs. gold from the fortnight's crushing with. 10 heads of stamps at Russell's Battery. The reef now averages 5 feet, and the yield is about an ounce to the ton ; gold worth about £3 an ounce. Next week 20 stamps will be started on the stuff. 3.30 p.m. The Nonpareil have got 447 ouuees from the plates from nine days' crushing at the hattery. The parcel of quartz from the Nautilus yielded 27 ounces. Tho fortnightly yield of the Caledonian is -GIL ounces of gold. Shares have declined to £90.
