CALEDONIAN STILL FLOODED
UNA CRUSHING,
SUBSCRIPTIONS FOR ORPHANS
OJP DUN STAN,
Geahamstowk, 3 p.m. The Caledonian is still flooded with water, which is now in the winzes.
The Una Company, for the fortnight, have lodged 2&4_ ozs. Tbe Black Angel have obtained 13 ozs. from their last crushing.
The City of Edinburgh have crushed some stone has given 7 ozs. The West Coast crushing of 80 tons gave Gl ozs.
Golden Crown.—l 26 ozs. for the fortnight.
Eed, White and Blue have crushed 140 tons, which realised 70 ounces.
A subscription of £100 has been raised, to be forwarded to the orphans in England, of the man Dunstan, killed in the Caledonian mine.
The petition to the Government, asking for an expenditure of £20,000 here is being numerously signed.
