An accident has occurred at Tookey's by the falling of quartz. James Burns has had his leg broken.
The boy Smith, injured by the waterwheel at Ohinemuri, has died from his injuries.
The Caledonian is flooded, but they expect soon to be able to get it under with the use of the spare lift.
The All Nations and Nonpareil are still getting good stone.
The Ashley tribute have obtained 25 ounces from 40 tons.
