Thbathe Koyal.—As whs anticipated, this house was crowded in every part last nig lit with a brilliant audience, and the performance liberally given by-Mr. Hoskins and Miss L'olville, in aid of the Parnell Orphan Home and Ladies' Benevolent Society, h:id the much-desired result of adding considerably to the funds of these iuslitution.s. To utter a word of praise in favour of the acting is perfectly unnecessary, the qualilicalious of those eminent artistes being too well known to require any commendation. A hornpipe by an amateur, and musical selections by the Stuff Jiaiid, were also exceedingly well executed. At the close of the entertainment Mr. Hoskins came forward, and mule the pleasing statement thai, after deducting a few inevitable expenses, the balance would be about £38.

Oity Halt,. —The Gourlay Family ug.iiu performed last evening with their usual success, and to a tolerably full house. A new programme will be prose.', ted to-night, for the benefit of Miss Minnie uud Master Johnny Gourlay.

Hippodhome. — The novel opea - air sports under this title will commence tomorrow in the Albert Earrack square, where elaborate preparations have been made to ensure that success which mitthtbe expected to follow the efforts of a talented equestrian company like Mr. Murray's.
