GREAT WOULD CIRCUS.
The pavilion was literally crammed on Saturday night, ifc being a benefit complimentary ps'rfor.nance to, Mr. Harry Cowle. The various performers seemed to vie in excelling tkprmelves, an I the utmost satisfaction wus manifested in repeated and prolonged applause. We wero sorry to sec that Madame La Eossiere met with an acejdont, spraining her ancle, but with true pluck she re-n;ouuted an/1 finished her part. A sudden bluze in tho hack of the pit capped a patuo, aud tlio Vigour w'fth. wliich those about pre.cipitn ed themselves on top of those before them, hastening to fly from what they must have regarded as destruction, produced a very exciting scene. Of course there was nothing in tlio incident to alarm. The benefit was a great succoss.— We observe that the company appear tomorrow and next evening at OnMiungu.
