Pjbixcb op Wales Thabtbe.—This house was crowded last evening with a brilliant and attentive audience, who appeared thoroughly to enjoy the exceedingly good representation of Sheridan's celebrated comedy " The School for Scandal." Mr. *Hoskins aa Charles Surface, and Miss polville as Lady Teazle, were, of course, iabove criticism ; and the other parts were •s\-c!l sustained by the Auckland favorites. American "Excelsior Minsteels.—The City Hall was well filled last night, and the Miuslrols went through their performnnees with their customary success. This talented company will leave for the TliHmes on Monday morning. Gjikat World Cikcu3.—This favourite place of amusement will be re-opened this evening, and a first-class programme has been prepared, the particulars of which may bu seen in our advertising columns.
