August 11.—Tlio contractor for fencing in the graving dock cuinineiioed operations tins afternoon, in l-liu presence of Mr. McGregor, the engineer to the (look (rust. Connor, the contractor for the dock, ejected them, to the great amusement of a lur^e crowd of spectutors. The polico were present, but there was no breach of the peace.
August 14.; —Arrived—Nora Brufcpnt, barque, from Hong Kong, with 332 Chinese.— Sailed—s.2o p.m., Wellington, for Lyttelton.
