PRINCE OF WALES THEATRE.

Shakespeabe's play of " Tito Merchant of Venice" wa3 repented at fliis theatre, and, passed off in the most successful mariner, Mr. Hoskins appearing as Shylock the Jew, and Miss Florence Colville as Portia, both parts being rendered in an intelligent manner. The rest of the characters were well sustained. To-night Dion Boucicault's drama of " Formosa" will be produced. We are requested to state that this drama in no wayresembles one of the same name produced at the Theatre Boyal* during last week, and that there is nothing immoral in the play to be produced to-night; and we. would hope that neither Mr. Hoskins nor Mr. Jones, the lessee, would willingly forfeit the golden opinions bestowed upon them since the opening of this theatre for the sake of benefiting the treasury by the production of any plays that would tend to losaen those opinions. We perceive by advertisement that the talented and highly esteemed Jady Mrs, Walter Hill has been engaged, and will appear to-night in the roll 01. Kelly' Saunders. The management is to be congratulated on this accession to the present talented company of the Prince of Wales, making one of the strongest combinations in the colonies.
