SALE OF HAZELBANK SHARES

Messrs. S. Cochrane and Son sold by auction this morning, by order of the Official .Agent, 99 shares in the Hazelbank Gold Mining Company at prices varying from 7s 6d to 9s 6d. It will be remembered that last week 450 shares in this company were sold at the Thames for £90, or something under 5i per share. The above must be very satisfactory to' the shareholdSrs of the company, and shows that the public is still confident of the original holders obtaining the ground. . j
