FATAL ACCIDENT.
A very melancholy accident occurred this morning, between eight and nine o'clock, on the Kyber "Pass Road. A dray belonging to Mr. F. Gr. Clayton, the lessee of the Slaughter-house, was being driven down the Kyber Pass Road by a man in his employment, named li. Graham. In some way the horse took fright and bolted. A laboring man, named William Fotherington, was proceeding down the road on the way to his work, and Graham called out to him to look out. Apparently the unfortunate man was not aware of the danger in time, and being struck down, either by the horse or shaft, wa3 run over by the wheel of the dray and instantly killed. Dr. Philson was immediately in attendance, but life was extinct. The body was removed to the Queen's Hotel, where an inquest will be held to-morrow afternoon. The poor man, who was rather of a delicate constitution, has left a wife and two littlo children to lament their sudden loss.
