The Golden Crown have lodged 147 ounces from 50 tons put through during the week. . , , , . The Caledonian have made their first deposit for the fortnight. During the morning 766 ounces were lodged in the Bank of New Zealand. The Una have cleaned up for the fortnight, the result being 140 ozs. The Vulcan crushing is looking very ■well. They expect about six ounces to the ton. McNaughton was brought up at the Police Court this morning, charged with selling liquors as Crown Distillery agent, without a license. He was fined 20s for not having bis license, although the Provincial Government declined to receive license fee when offered.
