Drunkenness. —J. Jones, J. Woods, N. Mcßride, J. Fergusson, J. Bell, and P. Boilly and J. Williamson were punished iv the usual manner for this offence.

Stbaying Cattle.—J. Leopold was fined 2s. 6d. for allowing a cow to stray. Vageancy.—W. Moore was charged with this offeree, was remanded for a week. P. Lynch pleaded guilty to the same offence, aud was imprisoned for onemonth, with hard lalabour. Mary Burke und Letitia Hughes pleading guilty to similar offences, were imprisoned for six months each. - Laeceny.—Edward Jones was charged by F. F. .Lloyd with having stolen goods to the value of 20s 6d. Prosecutor deposed tlint-'he was in charge'of the cutter Mary. ;i On Saturday last, missed a blanket and apair of boots ; prisoner had been working on the cutter. Never lent the aitides to him.—Constable Hinford deposed to the arrest of the prisoner on Saturday: night j/Q found -the boots produced on him. Prisoner said that prosecutor had lent him the articles.—lmprisoned for one month with hard labour. — Christina Wilson was chargedl'by Henry Bowman with having stolen one pound from him. H. Bowman deposed that at prisoner's house, yesterday, he gaveher four pounds to keep tor bint. She put them in her purse. Was sober at the time. She returned three pounds.—Detective Ternahan deposed to hay» ing arrested prisoner, and found the note in 1 her hair, under her net. She said prosecutor had given it to her.—Caso dismissed.
