Mr. J. T. Ga?lick reports a great demand on Tookeys; they have advanced from £32 to £'40, and are selling freely at the latter price. I have sold Thames, £37 ; Otago, £4; Central Italy, 325. Gd.

Mr. J". Phillips reports : Thames, £37 ; Prince Imperial, £5 10s.; Just-in-Time, lara:e parcel, 4s. ; Tookey, £31 to £40 ; Ke'd Queen, 10s. Gd.; Otago, 60s. ; Golden Lion, lGs. Gd.

Mr. J. Newman reports the share market excited this morning in consequence of the great demand for Tookey ; these shares having advanced from £32 to £40, receding £2 this afternoon. My sales comprise—Caledonian, £177 ; Otago, £3 ; Tookey, £37 ; Thames Gold Mining Company, £36 los.

Mr. Martin Sholl reports the following sales made during the day :—A small parcel of Bank of New Zealand shares at £17 ; Thames, £37 to £37 10s. ; Tookey, £35 to £40; Tokatea, £4. The main demand, has been for Tookey's. Enquiries for Excelsiors at 7s. Gd.; lied Queen, Bs. Gd. ; Shotover, 7s. Gd. ; Ballarat and llising Sun, 18s. .Kelly, Poverty and Charleston, Belfast, Hazolbank, and Bank of New Zealand shares in demand, the latter at £17.
