Mr. F. W. Stevens reports having sold Thames at £36 ; Alburnias, £14 ; Long Drives, £15 ; Otagos, £3; Tookey's, £25 and £26. The market is quiet. There is a demand for Tookeys, Thames, Alburnia, Bank, and Loan shares.
Mr. J. T. Garlick reports as follows : —Tokatea, £5 and £5 6s. Excelsior, Coromandel, 225. to 245. ; Moanatairi Unions, 10s. ; Otago, £3 ; Una, 20s. ; Poverty and Charleston, £6 10s. ; Union Sash and Door Company, £4. Mr. Samuel Vickers reports sales to-day as follows : — Caledonian, a fair parcel, £175 ; Thames, £36; Tokatea, £5 ; Tookey, £25; Belfast, £7 ; .New Zealand Insurance Company, £29; Bank of .New Zealand, a moderate parcel, £16 10s.
