Per schooner Helen, for Noumea, 120,000 feet sawn timber, 7 tons potatoes, 3 tons onions, _ ton cheese, McKenzie.
The brig Union loft Lyttelton for this port on the 14th instant.
The barque Free Trader hauled from the wharf this morning, and will sail this afternoon for Newcastte.
The cutter Julia, from Waiheki, brings a cargo of 30 tons firewood.
The schooner Helen sails to-day for Noumea, with a general cargo. The cutter Gazelle sailed this morning for Russell, with a general cargo. The following is the report of the schooner Lady Don, from Lyttelton, with grain :— Left Port Cooper Heads on Monday, the 15th of May instant, with light southerly winds; reached the Kaikoura Peninsula the following day, becalmed then until Wednesday afternoon, when it came on to blow very heavy from the north-west, backing round to west aud south-west, with a heavy sea running; rounded the East Cape on Saturday morning, the 20th instant. Since then ex> erieneed nothing but strong west and south-west wind up to arrival. The schooner brings a cargo of wheat and oats consigned to T. Russell. She comes up hereto be coppered, for which there will be tende s out.
The schooner Opotiki sailed to-day for Opotiki, with the following cargo:—lo" head cattle,!1, casks brandy, 1 cask ruin, 3 tons Hour, 4 cases brandy, 4 ditto old torn, 10 sacks biscuits, 10 ditto bran, 10 bags salt, 5 boxes soap, 1000 empty sacks, 6000 feet timber, 5000 shingles, J. S. Macfarlane; 3 crates, T. Boylan; 3000 feet timber, GOOO shingles, 1 cask, Auckland Saw-mill Company ; 16 packages, 2 ditto ammunition, 1000 bricks.
