POLICE COURT.—Tuesday.
[Before T. Beckham, Esq., R.M.]
Dkujskenness.—P. O'Brien was fined ss. and costs for this offence. Larceny.—John Clarke was charged with stealing a shirt, value 55., the property of Coombes and Johnson.—The evidence went only to show that a man iike defendant Was seen standing and looking about the place. No shirt was missed, a man named Halyday having merely said that defendant had stolen the article.—Case dismissed. Impounding Act.—W. Probble and W. Fleming were fined ss. each and costs. Assault.—An assault case was settled out of Court.
