The Bass Rock, situated close to the Nonpareil, have struck a fine reef, and already some 30 lbs. or 40 lbs. of rich specimens have been taken out. North Devon have sold here at £2 to £2 10s. The Caledonian took out eight hundredweight of very rich specimens early this morning. About 3000 ozs. more will be lodged this afternoon. The Inverness crushing of 100 tons, without specimens, is yielding about 1^ ozs. to the ton.
