VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE. The whole of the Volunteer forces of Auckland and the adjacent districts, are ordered to assemble in the J)oinain, oil the 2-lth instant, to celebrate the Queen's birthday. Their several orders will be found in our advertising columns. We should like to see the Thames Volunteers take part, in this display, as they did last year. Last night the usual weekly parade of the Auckland Rifle A roluntecrs too* placo at fche Drill-shed, in the presence of Major Gordon. Thero was a capital attendance, and the usual evolutions gono through on such occasions were performed most creditably.
