PERIPATETICS V. INCOGNITA.
A MATCH between the above elevens will be played to-morrow, in the Barrack Square, at ten o'clock, and, by the subjoined names, a close contest may be anticipated. The public will now have an opportunity of witnessing the champion pedestrians at the wickets, and should they prove as good at handling the willow as in their locomotive powers, old George Parr and the present Mr. S. Grace will doubtlessly be out vied. Peripatetics. — Pocock, Bowen, Talbot, Gleesou, Clifton, Eyton, Davis, Ruddock, Hewitt, Hillsden, Purchase.
INCOGNITA. —Rees, Cotton, Horan, Goss, Gatland, Burrows, Pearson, Willis, Humphries, Bird, Harris.
Should the weather prove favourable, next week will baa grand cricket week, to close the present season. Among other matches may be mentioned —Married v. Single, Incognita v. Auckland United, Stage v. Press.
