AMATEUR PERFORMANCE.
An amateur performance will be given tomorrow evening, at the Theatre Royal, in aid of the funds of the Home for Destitute Children—a most deserting institution. The chief personages of the performance will be Messrs. Hewitt, Harris, and Bird, the champion pedestrians, assisted by Mr. Charles Hillsden, their agent. The performance will comprise the comedies of " The Rough Diamond" and "Milky White," two excellent pieces. There will also be a musical melange, in the course of which Mr. \Frank Hewitt wilf sing some favourite baLLa rds;>*; Hherperformance will be under the patronage and in the pi'esence of Lady Bowen, and we hope to see a good house on the'occasion.1 J;'» :,
