THE REVISION OF THE ENGLISH BIBLE.
TnE third session of the New'^A^ainenfc Company commenced on Tuesday, anct^vwas continued until Friday, 14th October, I!SJ^O, inclusive. The meeting took place, as onNjormei1 occasions, in the Jerusalem Chambe^ Westminster. There was a full attendance* of the revisers, excepting the Bishop of Winchester, the chairman, j whoso place was filled by the Bishopof Gloucester and Bristol. The details of the revision, cannot, of course, be given; but it is understood that satisfactory pi'ogress was made, and an excellent feeling prevailed apiong the revisers.
