The usual meeting of the Chamber of Commerce was held yesterday. Mr. Yon Der Heyde in the chair. The only business of importance was the question as to the introduction of the cental system, and after deliberation, the following resolution moved by Mr. L. Nathan was carried : " The Chamber having considered the communication from the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce respecting the sale of grain per cental, resolve that circulars be sent to the principal grain merchants requesting their opinion on the same, previous to giving a reply.
