IMPERIAL CROWN.—32 OZS. FROM TWENTY TONS.
THE CALEDONIAN
2.45 p.m. The correct amount lodged by the Caledonia is 2056 ounces this morning. Two retorts are now on the fire, which, it is expected, will yield 900 ounces more. The Imperial Crown tributers have crushed 20 tons, the result being 32 ounces melted gold. The Waiteinata are taking out very rich stone. Some rich specimens have just been brought in from one of the claims on the Kurauui hill.
