February 11.—The Waikia election has resulted thus : Bradßha\v, 242 ; Deans, 106.— lago opposes Macandrew for Port Chalmers. —The Taranaki has sailed for the north.— There is no alteration in the grain market, aud none is expected as the crops are delivered.— Flour is scarce—Wheat,, good qualities, £13 ; inferior, £9 to £l 2 man, name unknown, died from eating tutu berries in Southland.
