CRICKET MATCH

PERIPATETICS V. STRANGERS

A cbicket match between the Peripatetics and Strangers was commenced in the Albert Barracks this morning. Wickets were pitched at 11 o'clock, and the Peripatetics having won the toss, went first to the wickets. At the time of our going to press they were doing well, and there appeared to be vei'y little chance of the Strangers getting an innings to-day. From the following score it will be seen that Messrs. Eees and Mumford were playing remarkably well, the former scoring 74, and the latter 36. PERIPATETICS. TIEST INNIN-9S.
