January 11.—The Wesleyan Conference commences on Tuesday next. Fifty-seven ministers are expected to be present. —The Launceston railway will be completed this week, nnd opens on the Ist February. January 12.—The Free Church Presbytery Conference at Launceston concluded their business in one day ; the returns show an increase of membership.—The minors at the Blackboy goldlields average £2 per week.
