The schooner Lady Darling left Melbourne on the 18th ult. and experienced light N.E. winds for 4 days, and then a strong S.E. gale for 7 days, during which the vessel was hove too; thence to the Three Kings N.N.W. winds. Passed North Cape on Friday, and arrived in harbour at 1 a.m. this morning. Prssengers. —Mr. and Mrs. Severn and family, Mrs. Jones and family. The schooner Fortune from the East Coast, brings 800 bushels maize to J. S. Macfarlane.
The clipper barque Kate, Captain Cooper, arrived in harbour early this morning, after a capital run of nine days. She left Sydney on the 30th ultimo, and experienced variable winds across, making the Three Kings on Friday last. The brig Moa arrived in harbour at five o'clock this morning, from Starbuck Island and Rorotonga, after a smart passage. Passengers : —Mrs. Arundel, and two others.
