In the race won by Mariner —when Wizard came in second—the latter horde earned three stone nine pounds more ban the former: The regular* monthly meeting of Royal Arch Chapter will be held in the Masonic Hotel, this evening, at 7.30. Now that the ladies are having everything their own way, it is said that printed declarations, with blank forms, are to be used by young ladies who have lovers too modest to propose. The ladies themselves fill out the blanks, and of course no sensible m in can refuse signing them.
