A public meeting of the inhabitants of Parnell is convened for this evening, at the Parnoll Hall, for the purpose of considering the question of Protection v. Free Trade. The meeting is called by Mr. Clark, secretary of the Local Industry League.
Tenders are required for the erection of banking premises for the Union Bank of Australia at Napier.
