Land o'Onkes, but of all those who delight in athletic exercises. There will doubtless bo the unial cro-vd-« at the North Shore, and the domain, an C're morne Gardens will present a very Jtre.'it attraction lo those who admire ICnglish sports, calisthenics. In the evening the Japanese troupe will volume iiirir wonderful exhibiton at thn City Hall, while JCerr and Mrs. Bandmnnn will give n treat to all lovers of good acling, at the Theatre Royal. Altogether those who wish to in'iu^urate the new year with enjoyment and happiness will have abundant opportunity, and we trust that for once the cleric of the weather will relent, and contribute to the happiness of the holiday.
