'BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH. . «. THIS DAY. CLAIM CEUSHINGS.—GOLDEN CEOWN AND UNA. The following crushings were completed this morning : —J Golden Crown weekly return, 447 ounces. Una, 120 ounces, from 150 tons. Alburnia, 37 ounces. The new tramway was started this morning. It is 417 yards long, and the shoot 100 feet. It works beautifully. At the Police Court this morning two girls, aged 8 years, were convicted of larceny. They were remanded in order that the Magistrate might communicate with the Superintendent about a reformatory.
