, Adelaide, Monday, 11 p.m. The branch, mail steamer Alexandra. Uapt. Brown, arrived at Glenelg at 9.30 a.m. to-day, making the return passage in 92 hours. The outward passage occupied 104 hours.
The R. M.S. Malta, Captain Slcottowe, arrived at the Sound at 11 p.m. on the 13th instant, and sailed at 6 p.m. on the 14th. .
The U.M. S.Geelong, Captain Dundas, left G'alle at 5.42 p m. on November 2nd, and arrived at the Sound at 8 a.m. on the 17th instant, having experienced fine weather with moderate head winds during the voyage; she was to leave for Melbourne at 6 p.m. the same day. The steamer Rangoon has returned, and will take the place of the j Malta on the Australian line.
The French iron-clad frigate Belligeure left King George's Sound on the 13th intant, on the look out for German vessels, and to visit New Caledonia.
