ELECTION MATTERS.

It -will be observed that preparations are still quietly proceeding for the political contest approaching, and that the various forces are being marshalled. A very numerously-signed requisition, from the electors of Rodney, as it appears in another column, has been presented to Mr. Farnall, and another, from the constituency of Eden, to Mr. Crtighton, who will woo the sweet voices in competition with Mr. Kerr. It would appear that the country is fully awake to the importance of the coming struggle, and thera will be few, if any, seats left uncontested.
