GrRAHAMSTOWN, 3 p.m. Me. Macdonaid, the solicitor^ was brought up at the Police Court today, charged by Mr. Smythe (agent for Mr. Heller) "with having assaulted him at the Academy of Music, last night. There had been great aggravation, and the case was dismissed. Another charge has been laid against Mr. Kersterman, for violently assaulting Mr. Hilisden, of Hellers company, at the same time. The case is just being opened as this telegram is transmitted. It appears that.no provocation had been given to the defendant, and a, conviction in this case is expected. The fracas has caused a great deal of excitement.
