John Shearer, a bankrupt, gives notice of his intention to apply for his order of discharge on the 22nd of December. Mr. James Fullerton, a reporter af Glasgow, has obtained £100 damages against a M;r. Walker, for having stated that a mistake made by the reporter was wilful, and for a corrupt purpose.. We see by the Honolulu papers that ft'r i Joseph, Baynor, assisted by Mr. Nield, '•< ie well known amateur, late of this city, has been giving a series of very successful.dramatic entertainments in that city.
